I am very proud to be a part of such an important non-profit organization that
strives to make a difference in the world. When I saw that MakePeace is searching for a supervisor to oversee
its customer service department, it seemed too good to be true. I feel my
exposure working for a similar organization as a customer service representative
for more than seven years has prepared me for this position. The range of my
responsibilities goes far beyond providing customer support. I have assisted the
department supervisor in coordinating daily administrative activities, and have
acted as a department supervisor, as needed. The range of these administrative activities includes staff
scheduling, team training, and quality assurance monitoring. I have even
prepared payroll and customer billings. Unfortunately, there is no room for advancement at this time.
Otherwise I would stay on with the company, as I am a dedicated employee. In
fact, my manager and I have discussed the limitations the company has to offer
me in the next five years, and he does not want to hold me back from progressing my
career.
My manager is fully supportive of my efforts to find a new
professional home, and will provide my next employer with a glowing
recommendation.
