Using my knowledge of Visual Basic, I dabbled with creating simple programs using the many lesson plans I had at my disposal. What started out as an experiment turned into a passion for educational software development.

By the time my third year rolled around, the word spread throughout the district. Soon my lessons were in demand by other Mathematics teachers who found the e-lessons to be indispensable tools that engaged students in the learning process, even reluctant learners!

The e-learning programs also facilitated the delivery of more lessons in a shorter period, allowing more flexibility in the teaching schedule to spend quality time with students. More importantly, students looked forward to using computers in the classroom, the computer lab, and at home. In short, learning was fun!

All of these valuable reasons, coupled with my technical expertise, facilitated my career transition from the high school classroom to the corporate training center at e-Corporate Students, Inc., working behind the scenes and directly with learners. As a result, I learned firsthand what works and what doesn't.

I miss teaching, and now want to do both!
