In my current position as a high school social worker, I am responsible for the guidance, counseling, and advocacy of up to 265 students. With such a large caseload, I face many new challenges everyday. However, through individual and group counseling, a highly visible school-wide presence and an open door policy for students, parents, teachers, and mental health professionals, I am able to keep a pulse on student progress and find solutions to assist students in achieving their goals.
